I have been in the design industry for nearly 10 years, working primarily with companies in Northern Ireland. I graduated from the University of Ulster with a Bachelor's Degree in Design for Visual Communication. Since then I have held roles within design companies as a packaging designer, a graphic designer and as a digital designer.

My roles in employment have allowed me to gain valuable experience and work with some amazing clients like Ferrari, Bentley, Lexus, Power NI, Stena line, Proctor & Gamble and countless others.

 

I now work primarily in the digital space designing and building websites and landing pages. My main passion is UI/UX design, creating websites and applications from the ground up.

I began my freelance career in 2019 after leaving my job at BeingOnline in Belfast. I work within a freelance company called Putty Squared, helping several other freelancers with projects if and when needed ( Only 2 of us now)

Over the last 3 years, I have worked on some fantastic projects with some great clients including Queens University, Ledcom Larne, Mid & East Antrim Council, Ballymena Business Centre, Errigal Contracts, Hamilton Architects and many more.

 

Alongside my digital work I have been mentoring other small businesses and freelancers like myself helping them get their business online. I have been employed on the Spark and Kickstart programs helping over 40 new business owners in the last 3 years. I have also delivered webinars on how to build websites yourself via the Mid and East Antrim Council as well as delivered webinars to the Ballymena Women in Business groups also.

Outside of work, I am married with 2 young kids and if I have 10mins spare (which is rare) I'm either playing or watching sports, especially Football and Golf. I'm also big into all things Tech, Gaming, TV and film!
